Angus McCarey is an experienced executive with a long history of successful roles in a variety of industries. Angus has held positions at Uswitch.com, Hive Learning, Blenheim Chalcot, graze.com, eBay, Bain & Company, and Capital One. In 2021, they became the CEO of Uswitch.com, a group of online companies that work to empower consumers by helping them compare home services, insurances and financial products. In 2015, they became a Board Advisor and Co-founder of Hive Learning, a global leader in digital learning, and a Non-Exec / Advisor at Blenheim Chalcot. In 2013, they took on the role of Chief Marketing, Commercial & Product Officer at graze.com, where they were responsible for product, marketing and commercial during the key period of its expansion from UK online subscription to international online and retail. From 2007 to 2013, they held several positions at eBay, including Senior Director, UK Europe Buyer Experience, Senior Director, UK Europe Seller Experience, Director of Category Management, Europe, UK Commercial Director, Head of Business Development, and Head of eBay Motors; Senior Trade Manager, eBay Motors. In 2006, they were a Consultant at Bain & Company, and from 2000 to 2006, they held positions of Business Manager, Senior Business Analyst, and Customer Acquisition Project Manager at Capital One.

Angus McCarey completed an MBA from INSEAD in 2005. Angus obtained an MA in English Literature from the University of Cambridge between 1997 and 2000. Prior to that, they attended the University of Cambridge.
