Matthew Warren is an experienced archaeologist currently working at Historical Research Associates, Inc. since December 2018. Prior to this role, Matthew served as a graduate student in the Anthropology department at The University of Texas at San Antonio from August 2010 to December 2018, where dissertation research was conducted in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Matthew’s earlier experience includes working as a field technician at Historical Research Associates from August 2009 to August 2010, gaining expertise in archaeological surveying and excavation methodology. Additionally, Matthew contributed to the Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture as an archaeological collections technician from October 2007 to March 2009, curating collections and creating digital databases. Educationally, Matthew holds a Ph.D. in Anthropology from The University of Texas at San Antonio and a B.A. in Anthropology and Biology from The University of Washington.
