Caterina Berni

Interpretation Manager at Historic Royal Palaces

Caterina Berni has a diverse work experience in the field of interpretation and exhibition development. In 2018, they worked as an Interpretation Manager at Historic Royal Palaces, where they managed the Victoria: A Royal Childhood exhibition at Kensington Palace and worked on other interpretation projects. Prior to this, from 2014 to 2018, they worked at Event Communications as an Interpreter, developing content and interpretive concepts for various heritage and commercial projects. Additionally, they have experience as a Research and Interpretation Assistant at Ralph Appelbaum Associates in 2013, where they contributed to the development of a museum's permanent galleries. Caterina also worked as a Research and Interpretation Assistant at Casson Mann Ltd in 2012, where they played a role in exhibition content research. Lastly, in 2011, they gained experience as an Exhibitions and Interpretation Assistant at the National Maritime Museum, where they contributed to the "Royal River" temporary exhibition and assisted in the reinterpretation of objects in Neptune Court.

Caterina Berni completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History at Durham University from 2008 to 2011. Afterward, they pursued a Masters degree in Museum Studies at UCL from 2012 to 2014.
