Julia Butterfield is an experienced educator and program coordinator with a focus on K-12 programs at Historic Hudson Valley since July 2018. In the role of K-12 Program Coordinator, Julia oversees program planning and implementation, manages field trips, assists in training museum educators, and develops classroom resources. Previously, Julia worked as a Program Associate at Historic Hudson Valley, where responsibilities included teaching and developing educational programs at various historic sites. Additional experience includes roles as a Direct Support Professional, Educator at the Museum of the City of New York, Teaching Artist at Arc Stages, and internships at prestigious organizations such as The Frick Collection and the Riverside Church. Julia holds a Master's degree in Archives and Public History from New York University and a Bachelor's degree in History from Oberlin College.
