Dawn McDowell has a strong background in historic preservation and heritage management. Beginning their career at the Art Gallery of Ontario, Dawn has since held various positions at organizations such as Christie's, Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland, and now at Historic Environment Scotland. With a focus on architectural heritage, Dawn has served as the Editor of 'Architectural Heritage' and is currently the Deputy Head of Designations - Head of Listing at Historic Environment Scotland. McDowell's education includes degrees in Decorative Art, Art History, and Art and Art History from prestigious universities.
