Al Rawlinson has a diverse work experience in the field of digital innovation and learning, 3D modeling, and architectural visualization. Al is currently the Head of Digital Innovation and Learning at Historic Environment Scotland since June 2017. Previously, they worked as the Head of Data Acquisition at the Digital Design Studio, Glasgow School of Art from January 2013 to June 2017. Before that, they held the role of 3D Visualization Specialist, where they were involved in 3D modeling and architectural visualization using various software packages. Al Rawlinson started their career as a 3D Modeller at Seamanship International in May 2004 and worked there until February 2006.
Al Rawlinson attended Glasgow College of Building and Printing from 1997 to 1999, where they earned an HND in Integrated Product Design. Al then continued their education at Glasgow Caledonian University from 1999 to 2001 and obtained a BA (Hons) degree in Integrated Product Design.
