Claudia Kenyatta serves as Chair at Battersea Arts Centre since July 2023 and holds the position of Director, Regions at Historic England, a role shared with Emma Squire since September 2018. Additionally, Claudia is a Board Trustee for Black Cultural Archives, a position held from February 2022 to December 2023. Prior experience includes various leadership roles at the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) from April 2012 to September 2018, including Director of Corporate Strategy in job-share with Kate Joseph, and interim Director for Digital Economy. Claudia Kenyatta achieved an MA in Museum Studies from UCL in 2003 and a BA in Modern History from the University of Oxford from 1993 to 1996.
