Scott McClellan has extensive work experience in various engineering and software development roles. From March 2023, they have been working as an Engineering Manager at Hiro. Prior to that, they worked as a Coach at Silent Upgrade, where they focused on helping professionals build healthy relationships through deep conversations and practical perspective upgrades.

Before that, they served as an Engineering Manager at Lithic from January 2022 to November 2022. From May 2020 to January 2022, Scott held the position of Engineering Manager at KindHealth.

Scott'searlier experience includes roles at Puppet, where they worked as a Senior Software Engineer from June 2016 to April 2020 and as a Software Engineer from February 2014 to June 2016. Scott primarily developed a bare-metal policy-based provisioning tool called Razor.

Before Puppet, Scott worked as a Software Engineer at Dematic Reddwerks, where they were responsible for various tasks such as automating code deployment processes, developing reports and web pages, implementing real-time web interfaces, and designing key workflows. Scott also contributed to the engineering of a system allowing the largest pharmacy chain in the U.S. to order Schedule II drugs.

Scott's early career includes a role as an Associate Software Developer at H-E-B, where they developed software in Java, MySQL, HTML/CSS/Javascript, and designed interfaces and functionality for websites. Scott also worked as a Technical Intern at the State of Oregon - Department of Consumer and Business Services, where they developed report-generating Oracle SQL programs and collaborated with analysts and users to comply with business rules and policies.

Scott McClellan attended Sprague High School from 2002 to 2006. Scott then went on to Trinity University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from 2006 to 2010.
