Christie Brodbeck's work experience begins in 2004 as an Instructor at The University of Akron. Christie then worked as a Selection Intern at Shaker Consulting Group from 2007 to 2008. Christie returned to Shaker Consulting Group in 2012, first as a Senior Associate and later as the Director of Assessment Deployment until 2019. From 2019 to 2021, they worked at Modern Hire as the Director of Assessment Deployment and then as the Vice President of Professional Services. Currently, they are the Vice President of Science Services at HireVue.

Christie Brodbeck holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Virginia Tech, which they obtained between the years 2000 and 2004. Christie pursued further education at The University of Akron, earning a Master of Science degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from 2004 to 2006. Following this, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from The University of Akron between 2006 and 2009.
