Ming Chen's work experience begins with a role as a Senior Vice President at HiOperator, where they were responsible for integrating customer support platforms and leading a team of US-based agents. They then transitioned to Smarking Inc., where they worked in growth and customer success. Before that, Ming Chen worked as a Traffic Operator for nonferrous metals at Trafigura, handling global logistics and risk mitigation. Prior to that, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at MIT Media Lab, where they conducted research and mentored undergrad students. Ming Chen also had an internship as an IP Intern at WilmerHale.

Ming Chen obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science & Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. Ming then pursued a Master's Degree in Media Arts & Sciences at the same institution, completing their studies from 2011 to 2013.
