Emeka Egwuatu is a legal professional with extensive experience in privacy law and data protection. Currently serving as an Associate at Hintze Law PLLC since August 2021, Emeka has contributed to various matters related to COPPA, CCPA, BIPA, FERPA, facial recognition technology, data security breach law, and data protection agreements. Emeka began at Hintze Law PLLC as a Summer Associate from June 2020 to August 2020 and previously gained experience as a Legal Intern at Expedia Group in the summer of 2019. Emeka holds a Juris Doctorate with a focus on Privacy from Seattle University School of Law, obtained in 2021, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Economy, Global Health, and Public Health from the University of Washington, completed in 2017.
