Vincent Descubes is an experienced programmer with a diverse background in the video game industry. Currently a programmer at Hinterland Studio Inc. since 2017, Vincent has contributed to "The Long Dark" using Unity and C#. Prior roles include software engineer at United Front Games, where Vincent worked on "Smash&Grab" and the "Marvel Battlegrounds Play Set" for Disney Infinity 3.0, as well as contributing to "Halo: The Master Chief Collection." Earlier experience at Ubisoft involved engine/tools programming for AAA projects, including "Far Cry 3," and serving as a senior game developer for titles such as "James Cameron's Avatar DS." Additional positions include senior game programmer at DC Studios, leading development for mini games in "ThrillVille," and a development team leader role at zSlide, overseeing multiple gaming projects and introducing automated testing. Vincent began the career as an information systems consultant at Synapsys Conseils. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Computer Science from Centrale Lille and a Bac C from Lycée Buffon.
