Ruby Xia is a skilled concept artist currently working at Hinterland since July 2022 and has been active as a freelance concept artist since January 2018, collaborating with notable clients such as Netflix, Meta, and Gameloft. Ruby's experience includes significant projects in animation, live action TV, video games, and theme park design, with a strong focus on character, set, and prop design. Previous roles include concept artist at Deluxe Animation, contributing to Marvel's "What If" and "Road of Vengeance," and background painter at NELVANA on "Hotel Transylvania: The Series." Ruby has a Bachelor of Animation degree from Sheridan College and has pursued further education in concept art and figure drawing through various online courses.
