Mark Edem is a Legislative Assistant at Hinman Straub P.C. since September 2022, previously serving as an Orientation Leader and Data Entry Specialist at The College of Saint Rose. In the role as Orientation Leader, Mark assisted incoming students with registration, major selection, and event organization to aid acclimation to campus life. Prior experience includes a Legislative Intern position at the New York State Assembly, where Mark conducted research on racial profiling and organized community discussions on housing concerns. Mark also served as a Resident Assistant at The College of Saint Rose, focusing on student accommodation and community building. Mark holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from The College of Saint Rose and an A-Level Cambridge Certificate from the African Leadership Academy.
