Sherri Schugart is a seasoned real estate executive with extensive experience in investment management and operations. Since joining Hines in 1995, Ms. Schugart has held pivotal leadership roles, currently serving as the Senior Managing Director and CEO of the Core Fund, REIT & BDC Group, as well as President and CEO of Hines Real Estate Investment Trust, Inc. In previous roles, Ms. Schugart was responsible for the Chief Operating Officer duties for two public REITs and a private institutional investment fund, overseeing more than $10 billion in assets across the US and internationally. Prior to Hines, Ms. Schugart worked as a Senior Manager at Arthur Andersen. Educationally, Ms. Schugart holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas State University.
