Previously, Girish held the position of Senior Vice President of Taxation at Ambuja Cements Ltd. Educational qualifications include a Fellowship in Chartered Accountancy from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a degree from New Law College, Mumbai, both completed between 1983 and 1988.
