Steven Blay has a diverse work experience primarily in the construction industry. Steven started their career as a ProShop Consultant at Hilti in 2005 and later became an Account Manager, specializing in B2B sales. Steven then served as the Regional Sales Manager for Atlantic Canada, where they managed a team and handled various projects in different industries. In 2011, they took on the role of Regional Sales Manager in Toronto, overseeing sales and budget forecasts for central Ontario. In 2015, Steven transitioned to the role of Trade Marketing Manager, responsible for developing and implementing marketing campaigns in Canada. Steven then became the Director of Marketing & Strategic Business for Hilti Canada in 2018 before being promoted to the Head of Energy & Industry and Vice President of Sales for Hilti Canada in 2022. Prior to their time at Hilti, Steven worked as an Events Manager at NMG from 2003 to 2004.
Steven Blay completed a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing Management from Ryerson University from 2000 to 2003. Prior to that, they obtained a Business Admin Diploma with CO-OP and a Marketing Diploma from Centennial College from 1997 to 2000. Steven also has certifications in Fall Arrest and WHIMIS, although the month and year of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
