Barbara Horr has extensive experience in education, currently serving as a National Writing Project Fellow at Rutgers University since July 2015, where workshops are created to meet schools' professional development needs. As an educator in Hillsborough Township since September 2005, Barbara teaches reading and writing at various levels and oversees the "Future Educators of America" group. Previous roles include consulting for the New Jersey Department of Education and coordinating adult basic skills programs for Hunterdon County ESC. Educational qualifications include a NJ Certificate in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language from The College of New Jersey and a Master’s degree in Literacy from Walden University, along with a BA in English, Psychology, and Education from Indiana University.
