Alexander Kozintsev has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2011, they worked as an Algebra Recovery Tutor at Campbell Union High School District. From 2012 to 2013, they served as a Biolab Assistant at Lawrence Hall of Science, where they managed interns and facilitated educational sessions on exotic animals. In 2013 and 2014, they interned at Cytokinetics, gaining experience in DMPK/Analytical Chemistry and supervising new interns. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as an Analytical Chemist at Light Polymers, conducting HPLC and GPC analyses, and enhancing communication between team members from different cultural backgrounds. In 2015, they served as a Masters Student Researcher at Sugihara Lab - NCCR Chemical Biology, focusing on mammalian cell culture, microscopy, and developing novel techniques for cellular connections. From 2017 to 2022, they joined Genentech, first as a Technical Development Research Associate and later as a Technical Development Senior Research Associate. In these roles, they specialized in analytical method development and validation for monoclonal antibody therapeutic programs, including various administration routes and co-formulations. Since 2022, Alexander has been working at HilleVax as a Senior Scientist and Analytical Program Lead.
Alexander Kozintsev began their education at Leigh High School from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Alexander then attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2011 to 2014, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemical Biology. Continuing their education, Kozintsev pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Chemical Biology at the University of Geneva, completing their studies from 2015 to 2017. Most recently, from 2018 to 2021, they undertook a remote Master of Science (MSc) degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry at The University of Kansas.
