David Poole serves as the Board Chair for HILL for Literacy since January 2022 and is the Principal at Lahinch Capital, a private investment vehicle focused on education and healthcare, since December 1997. Poole has held significant roles, including Sr. Advisor for Houghton Mifflin Harcourt's Innovation Fund from 2010 to 2011, where oversight of a $100 million initiative in edtech involved reviewing over 100 funding requests. Prior experience includes serving as VP of Sales at Lehman Brothers from 1987 to 1994, focusing on private wealth management, and as VP of Sales in Education and Healthcare at AT&T Information Systems from 1983 to 1987, where noteworthy achievements included leading successful sales initiatives at major universities. Poole holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Lehigh University College of Business.
