Alissya Rafiani has a diverse work experience. Alissya started their career as an Analyst at Badan Tenaga Nuklir Nasional (BATAN) in January 2018, where they monitored and analyzed the physical and chemical quality of concrete blocks from the radioactive waste treatment process. Alissya then worked as a Laboratory Assistant at the Integrated Laboratory Center of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta from March 2018 to March 2019, where they prepared lab equipment, cleaned and maintained the equipment, and used testing items and subjects for research experiments.

In October 2019, Alissya joined PT Prima Komunika Media (Prime Comm Public Relations) as an Account Executive, a role they held for a month. Alissya then moved to George Widjojo & Partners in November 2019, where they worked as an Intellectual Property Staff until February 2022. In this role, they were responsible for reporting to clients about office action letters issued by the Directorate General of Intellectual Property's examiner, estimating the cost of amending patent documents, and communicating with clients about the reports.

Most recently, Alissya served as a Jr. Partner at Qverse from February 2022 to March 2023.

Alissya Rafiani has a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, which they obtained in the years 2015 to 2019. Alissya then pursued further education at Institut Teknologi Bandung, where they completed a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Nanotechnology from 2023 to 2025.

In addition to their academic achievements, Alissya has obtained certifications in various subjects.
