Jim Vanney is an experienced educator currently working as a High School Teacher for Higley Unified School District since August 2022 and as a Paraeducator at Empower Education Academy since 2020, specializing in support for students with Autism and other disabilities. Previous positions include serving as a School Security Guard for Queen Creek Unified School District from August 2015 to March 2020 and teaching secondary education for multiple school districts, including Mesa Public Schools and Chandler Unified School District, from 1996 to 2015. In addition to educational roles, Jim Vanney has experience in real estate as an agent with West USA Realty and Coldwell Banker. Academic qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Northern Arizona University and a Bachelor's Degree in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from Grand Canyon University.
