Garrett Burke is the President and Founder of Highwire, a position held since April 2011. Prior to this role, Garrett served as Program Director and Instructor at the Harvard School of Public Health from August 2008 to March 2022, where development of the "Safety in Design and Construction – A Lifecycle Approach" program took place, emphasizing the importance of integrating safety considerations during the design phase of projects. Garrett's earlier career at Harvard University spanned from August 1997 to April 2011, including roles as Associate Director, Occupational Safety Manager, and Safety Officer. Garrett holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Science from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, earned between 1988 and 1992.
