Elizabeth Marvin-Smith has a diverse work experience. Elizabeth started their career as a Marketing Intern at Structural Graphics in 2008. In 2009, they worked as a Development Coordinator Intern at Planned Parenthood of Southern New England. From 2010 to 2013, they held the roles of Portfolio Reporting Specialist and Billing & Reporting Associate at Essex Financial Services Inc. In 2015, they became a Senior Sales Coordinator at John Hancock Financial Services. Since 2016, Elizabeth has been working at HighVista Strategies, where they started as a Client Strategies Associate. Elizabeth then transitioned to the role of Marketing Coordinator from 2018 to 2020, and currently serves as the Associate Director of Marketing from January 2021.

Elizabeth Marvin-Smith completed their high school education at Miss Porter's School from 2003 to 2006, earning a High School Diploma. Elizabeth then went on to attend Gettysburg College from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics. In 2008, they had a brief stint at the University of Wollongong, but no degree or field of study information is available for that period. Additionally, in April 2015, Elizabeth obtained a Series 6 certification from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
