Jake Kretman, CPA, has extensive experience in accounting and financial management, currently serving as Assistant Controller at Hightower Advisors since October 2018. Kretman's previous roles include Revenue Manager, Expense Manager, and Senior Analyst at the same firm. Prior to Hightower Advisors, Kretman spent three years at RSM US LLP as a Senior Audit Associate and Assurance Associate, specializing in audits for the manufacturing and distribution sector. Early career experiences include an accounting internship at Monarch Accounting Group and volunteering as a tax preparer for low-income clients through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program. Kretman holds a BS/MPA in Accounting from Illinois State University, obtained between 2010 and 2015.
