Teresa Nesteby has a long and varied work experience. Teresa began their career in 2006 as a Lead Teacher at KinderCare. Teresa then moved to St. Cloud Area School District 742 in 2008, where they worked as an English Language Teacher. In 2013, they worked as an English Teacher at Colegio Rochester. In 2014, they became a Teacher on Special Assignment- Literacy Specialist at Minneapolis Public Schools. In 2015, they joined Segment, where they held the roles of Success Engineering Manager, Sr. Success Engineer, and Success Engineer. In 2020, they moved to Slack, where they worked as a Senior Manager, Developer Support and Developer Support Manager. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Hightouch as the Head of Success Engineering.

Teresa Nesteby obtained a Master of Education (MEd) in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language/ESL Language Instructor from the University of Minnesota in 2008. Teresa also holds a Certificate in Urban Teaching from Hamline University, a License in K-12 Reading from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Foundations of Education: Elementary, Spanish Studies from the University of Minnesota. In addition, they have obtained certifications in K-12 English as a Second Language and K-12 Literacy from Minnesota, and a certification in Urban Teaching from Hamline University.
