Madeline Chimka, Ed.D., serves as the Director of Elementary Development at HighScope Educational Research Foundation since August 2020, leveraging extensive experience in education and research. Prior roles at Vanderbilt University included Doctoral Research focusing on program evaluation for the Elgin Children’s Foundation, along with contributions as a Doctoral Candidate and Graduate Student Monitor. At Metro Nashville Public Schools, Madeline excelled as a Science and Health Teacher, achieving high effectiveness ratings, and served as an advisor for student council initiatives. Additional experience includes roles at SCORE, Lipscomb University's Ayers Institute, and Teach For America, alongside early positions as a research instructor and assistant at the University of Michigan. Madeline holds a Doctor of Education degree from Vanderbilt University, along with a Master's in Education from Lipscomb University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of Michigan.
