Sean Kelly is an experienced professional in the fields of cyber governance, risk management, and data protection. Currently serving as the Director of Cyber GRC & Data Protection at Highmark Health since September 2021, Sean previously held the position of Manager for the Data Protection Team. Additionally, Sean contributes as a Reporter for the CISO Series Cyber Security Headlines Podcast since May 2021. Prior experience includes managerial roles at BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York, where Sean oversaw Enterprise Information Risk Assurance, and a long tenure at HSBC, leading the Global IT SOX Program. Early career highlights include positions in information security consulting and auditing at companies such as consilium1, SunGard Financial Systems, and Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon. Sean holds a Master of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from the State University of New York at Fredonia.
