Jessica Lankford is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Senior Counsel at Highmark Health since January 2022 and as Senior Corporate Counsel at Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield of Western New York since December 2014. Lankford specializes in a wide range of legal and regulatory issues, regularly drafting and negotiating contracts while providing guidance on complex regulatory matters and interacting with regulators. Prior to these roles, Lankford was a Partner in the Corporate Practice Area at Jaeckle Fleischmann & Mugel, LLP from September 2003 to November 2014, advising companies on regulatory issues, contract negotiations, board governance, and mergers and acquisitions. Lankford holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Syracuse University College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English Language and Literature from Wittenberg University.
