President, Highlights Consumer Business at Highlights for Children

Mary-Alice Moore has diverse experience in the publishing industry, with a focus on product development and strategy. Mary-Alice recently served as the EVP of Business Strategy and Product Development at Highlights for Children, where they developed content and product strategies to drive business growth and brand impact. Prior to that, they held roles such as SVP and Publisher at the Highlights Retail Group, overseeing sales, marketing, operations, and product development. Mary-Alice also served as the VP of Editorial Director at Highlight's Book Publishing division, where they oversaw editorial and product development teams for subscription clubs and book imprints. Before joining Highlights, Mary-Alice was the VP of New Product Development at Scholastic, Inc., where they created and developed subscription programs for major brands. Mary-Alice has also held various roles at Innovative Kids, North South Books, HarperCollins Publishers, The Children's Book Shoppe, and Farrar, Straus and Giroux.

Mary-Alice Moore received their Bachelor of Science degree with honors, cum laude, from Georgetown University in 1984. Mary-Alice majored in Spanish and Linguistics and was also a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society.
