Kent Johnson is the CEO of Highlights for Children, leading a diversified company dedicated to positively influencing children's lives through various educational experiences and products. Serving as a board member for Momentum Excellence since 2017, Kent supports children's engagement in the arts to foster self-discipline and teamwork. Kent has contributed to the governance of Nationwide Children's Hospital's Research Institute as a board member from 2011 to 2023 and has held board positions at Schurz Communications and MarketingEDGE.org, focusing on the education and development of marketing students. Formerly a scientist at Meso Scale Discovery from 1998 to 2004, Kent transitioned from R&D to operations and customer engagement. Educational background includes a PhD in Physics from Harvard University and a BA in Physics from Amherst College.
