Michelle Baptista, LCSW, is an experienced social worker currently employed at Highlander Charter School since August 2022. Previous roles include serving as a clinician at Fall River Deaconess Home from June 2021 to May 2022, and as a graduate assistant at Learning for Life from August 2020 to May 2021. Additionally, Michelle worked as a care coordinator at St. Mary's Home for Children between June 2018 and May 2021, and gained valuable experience as an MSW intern at Calcutt Middle School from September 2020 to April 2021. Early career contributions were made as a PASS worker at Seven Hills Foundation from September 2016 to May 2018, and as a BSW intern at Village House Nursing Home & Rehab from September 2016 to May 2017. Michelle holds a Master of Social Work from Rhode Island College and a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Salve Regina University, complemented by a foundational education from William E. Tolman Senior High School.
