Hamin Kim currently serves as Music Faculty at Dallas College, teaching a range of music courses across multiple campuses since August 2020. In addition to this role, Hamin is a Teaching Artist and Cello Instructor for the Kim Noltemy Young Musicians Orchestra Program under El Sistema USA, starting in June 2019. Hamin also contributes as an Associate Musician for The Dallas Opera, performing in various productions since 2021, and holds a position as Substitute Cello with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra since 2022. Previously, Hamin was a Section Cello with LAS COLINAS SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA INC, serving for two full seasons and as a substitute thereafter. Hamin's educational background includes a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Music in Cello Performance from the Royal Academy of Music, along with undergraduate coursework in Music Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
