Emma Case is a Senior Medical Writer at Highfield Communication Consultancy, where employment has spanned from November 2020 to the present. Previous roles include Medical Writer and Associate Medical Writer within the same organization. In summer 2019, Emma Case participated in a Wellcome Trust-funded project at the University of Bristol, focusing on the role of autophagy in osteoarthritis, while working with Chrissy Hammond and Jone Lane. The experience included techniques such as confocal microscopy and Western blotting. Prior to this, Emma Case worked as a Camp Counselor for Camp America in summer 2018. Emma Case earned an MSci degree in Biochemistry from the University of Bristol between 2016 and 2020, following education at Our Lady's Convent School from 2007 to 2016.
