Matthew Ross has over a decade of extensive experience in communications and media relations. Currently serving as the Director of Communications at the Higher Education Quality Council of Ontario (HEQCO) since November 2010, Matthew is responsible for articulating the significance and impact of HEQCO research to various stakeholders, overseeing all communications and marketing initiatives. Previous roles include Manager of Communications and Research Communications Officer at HEQCO, as well as Media Relations Specialist/Writer at Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada and Publicist at the Art Gallery of Ontario. Matthew's early career included a position as Assistant to Senior Communications Associates for the City of Brampton. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from Carleton University and a Diploma in Print Journalism from Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology.
