Hugh Christiansen has a long and varied work experience. From 1992 to 1999, they served as a Sergeant in the US Army. From 1999 to 2007, they were an IT Manager/Telecommunications Engineer at Communications World of Dallas. From 2007 to 2012, they were Chief Technologist and Sales Engineer/Technical Sales at UniComData, Inc. Finally, from 2012 to the present, they have been an Enterprise Solutions Architect and Operations Manager/Data Center Manager at High Touch Technologies.

Hugh Christiansen attended Midwestern State University from 1989 to 1991, where they studied Computer Science. Hugh has obtained four certifications from Microsoft and Cisco, including MCITP: Enterprise Desktop Administrator on Windows 7 (2012), MCITP: Enterprise Administrator on Windows Server 2008 (2008), MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional (2007), and CCNA (no date provided).
