Jason Biernat, AICP, currently serves as a Transportation Planning Analyst at High Street since November 2022. Previously, Jason held the position of Assistant Director of Transportation Planning at the City of Chicago from July 2018 to November 2022, overseeing the Chicago Department of Transportation's various initiatives. Prior to this role, Jason worked as a Service Planner for the Chicago Transit Authority and as a Special Projects Coordinator at STV, where responsibilities included grant and asset management. Jason's earlier experience includes positions as a Transportation Planner at the Baltimore Metropolitan Council and a Transportation Engineer at the Southeastern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission. Jason's career began as a Civil Engineer Intern at V3 Companies and as a Construction Review Technician at Ruekert-Mielke. Academic credentials include a Master of Urban Planning from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Marquette University.
