Erin Dougherty

Director, Public Engagement at High Museum of Art

Erin Dougherty has a diverse work experience that spans over several organizations. Erin started their career in 2004 at the National MS Society, where they worked as a Senior Coordinator until 2008. In 2009, they joined the Walker Art Center as an Education and Community Programs Intern, followed by a short-term role as a Program Coordinator at the Minneapolis Institute of Art. Then, in the same year, they began working at the High Museum of Art. Erin initially served as a Program Coordinator, then progressed to become a Program Manager, and eventually held the position of Senior Manager of Programs. Currently, Erin holds the role of Associate Director of Education at the High Museum of Art, starting in September 2022. Throughout their time at the museum, they have been responsible for various tasks such as supervising and developing staff, cultivating relationships with community partners, negotiating contracts, managing budgets, and organizing events with high attendance. Overall, Erin Dougherty's work experience showcases their dedication to the field of arts and education.

Erin Dougherty obtained a Bachelor's degree from the College of Saint Benedict. The exact dates are not provided.
