Alan Hoseason has over 30 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Alan began their career in 1994 as an Outreach Development Officer at Glasgow City Council. In 1998, they joined Gael Force Ten as a Coaching Development Officer, where they worked until 2005. Alan then transitioned to Coaching Highland, where they held the same position until 2012. Since 2012, Alan has been working at High Life Highland, first as an ICT Manager and currently as the Head of Digital & Technology. Their extensive experience in coaching and development, coupled with their current role in technology and digital, demonstrates their adaptability and diverse skill set.
Alan Hoseason began their education in 1989 at Telford College, where they pursued a degree in PE, Community Studies & Outdoor Activities. Alan completed their studies at Telford College in 1990. Following this, Alan attended Moray House from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained a BA (Hons) in Recreation Management, focusing on Sport, Arts, Countryside, and Management.
In addition to their formal education, Alan Hoseason has also obtained additional certifications. In June 2022, they earned an ILM Certificate in Leadership (SQF9) from the Social Enterprise Academy Scotland.
