John Nichols is an experienced Senior Project Manager currently overseeing the Kaiwaikawe Wind Farm Project for Mercury Energy at Higgins, a role initiated in May 2023. Prior to this, John served as the Asset Management & Maintenance Manager for the Puhoi to Warkworth Project at Higgins Contractors from March 2017 to May 2023, leading a joint venture with ACCIONA Concesiones S. L. John also held positions as Maintenance Manager with Ventia Pty Ltd and Leighton Contractors, where responsibilities included collaboration with Main Roads Western Australia on road maintenance and rehabilitation services. Earlier in their career, John was involved in the Queensland Transport Network Reconstruction Program as a Project Manager and managed road maintenance and renewal contracts for Auckland and Manukau City with Downer NZ.
