Benjamin Østerbye began their work experience at Hi Fi Klubben A/S in 2013, starting as a part-time sales assistant before moving into various roles such as trainee, sales assistant, and finally souschef. In 2019, they joined Argon Audio as an online sales manager. Benjamin returned to Hi Fi Klubben A/S in 2020, where they worked as a product manager before being promoted to head of the product department in August 2022.

Benjamin Østerbye attended Roskilde Katedralskole from 2010 to 2013, where they obtained their Gymnasieeksamen (high school diploma). In 2014, they attended Niels Brock for the HGS program. From 2015 to 2016, Benjamin studied at ZBC - Zealand Business College, where they pursued the Radiohandleruddannelsen degree.
