Eric Pietrowicz has a varied work experience, beginning with a Lifeguard position at Byron Center Pool in 2011. Eric then worked as an Assistant Swim Coach for Byron Center Public Schools in 2012. In 2014, they began working as a Metallurgist Co-op at AAM, an Electrical Engineering Manufacturing Intern at Innotec, and an Undergraduate Research Assistant and Engineering Graphics Teaching Assistant at Western Michigan University. In 2015, they began working at Stryker as an Electrical Firmware Design Engineer and Electrical Engineering R&D Sustainment Intern. In 2016, they took on the role of Vice President at Engineers Without Borders USA. In 2018, they began working at Insight Product Development as an Electrical and Firmware Engineer. Finally, in 2019, they began working at Hidrate Inc. as a Software Engineer, where they are currently working on the full-stack of IoT development in an Agile management environment.
Eric Pietrowicz earned their Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Western Michigan University between 2013 and 2017. Before that, they attended Byron Center Highschool from 2009 to 2013. Eric has also obtained several certifications, including Server-side Development with NodeJS, Express and MongoDB from Coursera in August 2020, 2020 Flutter Development Bootcamp with Dart from Udemy in June 2020, Neural Networks and Deep Learning from Coursera in March 2018, and OrCAD Certified – PSpice 17.2 from Logical Operations / Communispond in October 2017.
