Mary Lee Tosky is an experienced educator currently serving as a Computer Science, Business, Marketing, and Family and Consumer Science CTE Instructor at Hickory Career & Arts Magnet High School since October 2007. With licensure in Business Education, Marketing Education, and Family and Consumer Science, Mary Lee teaches a range of subjects including programming using Python and AP Computer Science Principles for grades 9-12. Previous roles include serving as an Adjunct Professor at Lenoir-Rhyne University, teaching Human Resource Management and Marketing Research, and holding a position as a Board Member for the Western Piedmont Symphony. Additional experience includes working as a Sales/Marketing professional at Webit Direct, LLC, and as a Substitute Teacher for Hickory Public Schools, where classroom management and curriculum implementation were key responsibilities. Mary Lee holds a Master's in Business Administration and a Licensure in Education from Lenoir-Rhyne University, as well as a BS in Business/Economics from SUNY Oneonta.
