Mikael Fagerlund has a diverse work experience. Mikael started their career at Nokia in 2005, where they worked as a Test Engineer and Seasonal Trainee. Later, they became a Senior Test Automation Engineer, responsible for test automation, test case planning, and documentation for Symbian products.

In 2008, Mikael transitioned to the role of a Senior Software Engineer at Nokia. Mikael implemented software in Qt/C++ for Symbian devices, reviewed code, and conducted unit tests as a member of a Scrum team.

Mikael then joined Accenture in 2011 as a System Specialist and C++ Developer. There, they worked on the development and maintenance of open source UI components for Symbian devices using Qt/C++ and QML.

In 2012, Mikael joined Nokia again as a System Specialist and Developer, where they developed internal web tools and databases using Java (Google Web Toolkit) and LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP). Mikael also created and maintained various scripts using languages like Bash, Perl, and Python.

Since 2013, Mikael has been working at Hibox Systems Oy as a Product Manager. Mikael has been leading a 10-person development and delivery team and managing the company's largest IPTV/OTT projects. Mikael is responsible for customer deliveries of the Hibox IPTV/OTT platform, and they also actively participates in development, testing, and sysadmin tasks to stay up to date with the product and technology.

From 2002 to 2008, Mikael Fagerlund attended Ã…bo Akademi University, where they obtained a M.Sc. degree in Software Engineering.
