Dawn Carleton is an experienced educator and educational leader with a diverse background spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Assistant Head of School at Blue Oak School since July 2023 and as a Classroom Teacher at Hiawatha Academies, Dawn's prior roles include Director of Academics and Academic Quality Controller at The International School of Minnesota, and Middle School Director at St. Matthew's Episcopal Day School, where significant contributions to quality education were made. Education credentials include a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction and another in Educational Leadership and Administration from Notre Dame de Namur University, along with a Bachelor's degree in German Studies from Connecticut College. Additionally, Dawn has held leadership roles in diversity initiatives and summer academic enrichment programs targeting underserved communities.
