Yulia Evchina is a Senior Data Scientist at Hiab since June 2021, focusing on linking physical processes of machines to the data they collect and fostering collaboration with R&D and engineering teams. Previously, Yulia worked as a Data Scientist at Sandvik from May 2018 to May 2021, analyzing machine signal data to assess behavior and health status. From March 2011 to December 2017, Yulia served as a Researcher at Tampere University of Technology, concentrating on multi-role and multi-user control systems, and developing monitoring tools using various programming languages and technologies. Earlier experience includes a position as a Programming Engineer at the Research Institute of Measuring and Radio Equipment in Chelyabinsk, Russia, from August 2007 to July 2010. Yulia holds a Doctor of Science in Technology from Tampere University of Technology, a Master’s degree, and a Bachelor’s degree in Automation and Control from South Ural State University.
