Chad Smith has extensive experience in payroll management, currently serving as Payroll Manager at Hi-Way Paving, Inc. since February 2017. In this role, Chad oversees the entire payroll process, including importing time, calculating, processing, and transmitting payroll to the bank. Prior positions include Payroll Accountant/Manager at Hi-Way Paving, Payroll Supervisor at Sequent Inc. where management of payroll for over 400 companies was undertaken, and payroll processing for approximately 1,000 employees at Dawson. Early career experience includes managing accounts payable and payroll at Genesis Rehabilitation Services and a multi-role position at Johnson City Medical Center. Chad holds an Associate's degree in Business Communication - Accounting from Northeast State Community College and attended East Tennessee State University.
