Steve Korsten has extensive experience in engineering and project management, currently serving as the Managing Director and Director of New Business Development at HI Calibre Engineering (Pty) Ltd since March 2013. Steve's expertise includes proposals engineering, conceptual design, capital expenditure, contracts, and project management. Previously, Steve held the role of Engineering Manager at TetraPak Chaswill from May 2011 to February 2013, overseeing a process engineering department, managing a team of engineers and artisans, and engaging in project management and proposals engineering activities. Prior to that, Steve served as Engineering Director at Chaswill Process Technology from August 1994 to April 2011, where responsibilities were similar in scope. Steve began the career as a Draftsman at Matador Refrigeration from July 1993 to July 1994, supporting engineering modifications and maintaining drawing libraries. Steve holds a T3 degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cape Peninsula University of Technology.
