Suresh Selvaraj has a diverse work experience in the field of biotechnology and biomedical research.
Suresh is currently working at HIBio as a Research Operations member, starting in May 2022.
Prior to that, they were employed at Genentech from 2015 to 2022, where they served as a Bio-Sample Operations member.
From 2013 to 2015, Suresh worked at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research as an Investigator.
Before that, they held a position as a Senior Research Associate at Genentech from 2009 to 2013, where they were responsible for maintaining, expanding, and banking cell lines, as well as developing cell line databases.
Suresh also has experience as a Research Specialist at Exelixis from 2007 to 2009, where they supported Core Assay and Cell Culture Core Facility, and as an Associate Scientist at Xencor from 2006 to 2007, where they maintained and expanded CHO cells for antibody expression.
Suresh started their career at the University of Southern California as a Postdoc, where they developed a cost-effective sandwich ELISA and studied the role of PlGF in inflammation during crises in Sickle cell patients.
Suresh Selvaraj completed their education from 1991 to 2000 at the University of Madras. During this period, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in the field of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
