Jennifer Somers, CPA, MBA, currently serves as Chief Financial Officer at HHUNY - Health Homes of Upstate New York since July 2019, and previously held the position of Controller. Before joining HHUNY, Jennifer worked at BlumShapiro from November 2011 to June 2019, progressing from Audit Supervisor to Audit Manager, where responsibilities included overseeing financial statement audit and review engagements, engagement planning, and staff supervision. Earlier experience includes a role as Staff Accountant at Lumsden & McCormick, LLP from July 2009 to September 2011. Jennifer earned an MBA in Accounting from Canisius University in 2009.
